The show features a rare glimpse at selected works painted by Mr. Young in the last years of his life.  Mr. Young’s iconographic language and painterly refinement have been stripped to a minimalist essence while retaining a perspective uniquely his own.

Mr. Young’s work is included in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, The High Museum in Atlanta, the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, the High Museum in Atlanta, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Bass Museum in Miami, among many other places.
